Palar Agricultural College celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 2024, with the theme “Our land = Our future, highlighting “Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience”. A fundamental component of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021 – 2030), land restoration is a modest step toward the global preservation and revitalization of ecosystems, which is essential to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Also, as part of World Environment Day, planting of saplings was carried out on the adopted village temple premises.
